Jamie Roush pretty much dominated the feature at Wakefield today!!But he did get me mad in the heat as I was leading going into turn 1 on the last lap.He hit me hard and rode me all the way down the backstretch!!I then lost 2nd to Aaron in that heat and it cost me 15 points!!
If it were the feature I wouldnt have been so mad,but this was the 2nd heat and he had nothing to gain from winning the heat as he was already on the Pole of the feature with his 2nd place finish!!We both would have had a heat win and a 2nd place heat finsih, but he outqualified me,so he had the pole!!He doesnt even think about this and goes all out like we are racing for a $10,000 purse!!
I was even told if I had stopped I would have gotten my spot back and Jamie would have been put to the tail for rough driving!!Next time it happens I guess I will stop!!I dont mind a bump going in to get me lose but to bump and keep riding it thru the turn and down the back stretch is ridiculous!!

| Sounds like you were holding up the field if he got by that fast . The 22 is one of those guys that can take what he dishes out and doesn't cry when you do it to him. Get a tissue and tuff in up Iron man !

Hey Scott, I think we were all 3 driving a little rough. That was by far the most banging around I have ever done in one race. It was a product of a small track, a tight points race, and a lot of fun!
Thanks Jeremy, for providing us another place to have fun. I think we need some more karts out at Wakefield. Its always more fun with more karts.

| Are you kidding me??Ive heard him cry before about Spillman many times!!The point is,if it was the feature I wouldnt have minded!!But Im in a points battle and hes not and it cost me and he gained nothing as he was already guaranteed the pole of the feature!!

But we give a bump and try to get the guy loose,he hits and keeps on hitting til you spin out or come to an almost complete stop!Yesterday was not fun for me!!Thats the maddest Ive ever been and even Ryan said, man Ive never seen you mad before!I was casue it was totally pointless of him to do that at that point in time!

All I am posting to this is that it was hard racing for the win.
Not one kart stopped on the track, therefore no need for the caution to be thrown.
How many races have we seen in our lifetimes that there is beating & banging to the checkered flag, but if no one stops, wrecks, spins, ect. there is no need for caution.
I am not saying if anyone is in the right or in the wrong.
Just saying that is the way racing goes...
The bad thing in this incident is that one driver is racing for a points championship & one driver is racing for a win....
Also, not sure if you guys no it or not but the 14 ran over the 71 all night, just wrecked himself instead of the 71.... Sorry Aaron...But you did...lol

LOL!!I wasnt going to mention that but I knew he was hitting me,I just didnt know he was up on my bumper LOL!!OK,anyhow its all cool,Im over all of it and just had to get this off my chest!!I will talk to Jamie at the next race we are at and we will work it out!!Im cool with Aaron as we were bumping a little but I think I may be the only one that made a clean pass coming off of 2 as I passed him back for the lead in that heat as we passed each other back and forth like 4 times LMAO!!It was fun after I think about it and I probably should have stopped when Jamie bumped me but when you are racing to the checkered flag you dont even think to do that LOL!!

Well said!!!!jjj4b
I was on a 13 driver with a 65 gear and was catching you guys.. Yes I had my e-mod motor on, but my setup was for a track 3 times the size of wrp. if you guys would run smoother and make clean passes you would be so much faster.
And RJ, You are the king of the cut down. If someone gets in side of you, you run them into the infield. I've seen you do it!! Grant it not as bad lately but you still do it..
Not trying to pick on you RJ! But you wanted the win the same as he did. Either for points or just the win. You can't tell me if you think you see an opening for the lead and the win that you would not go for it! I would and you would to!!!

RJ, To begin with me and jamie both like you, but on the track your one of the dirtiest drivers we run with. your always looking to the left to the right to see if there is a kart beside you to either come down on them or go up into them to keep them from passing you. When jamie bumped you in the middle of turn one and got under you, You said he rode you all the way down the back stretch. The truth is you came down on him and took him almost to the middle of the infield.
This stayed that way until he jumped your tire and you went right back onto the track.
Jamie had enough room to get this right rear tire on the track and win the race. The flagman pointed the black flag at you and we found out later it was because you tried to throw and elbow at jamie. I did not see this but thats prolly the worst mistake you could ever make.
Jamie always races to win and in the feature with 5 laps to go he was all over your bumper and had they not called it on lap 25 he would have lapped you.
we dont want to start no feud but if you was that mad you should have came to jamie and he would have straighted it out really quick. jamie went to Jeremy right after he won that heat race and asked if he did anything wrong and he was told no that was just good hard racing. we both like racing with all you guys. Me, i dont hit anyone on purpose unless they hit me first and both my sons race that way too, but we will try to get you loose. As far as costing you 15 points hes sorry about that but that 15 points helped get him into 4th place in the total points. He is now just 200 points behind the leaders so looks like he might try to cut your points even more.
I dont like replying on the computer but hearing your bull**** just pissed me off when its alright for you to beat on people and the other people cant touch you.
We will see you at the next race and i hope there is no argueing but the next time you get mad at one of us come to us and dont wait to go home and try to bad mouth us on the computer. It was just good hard racing get over it!

One thing to this, I think that Bill [flagman] thought Scott was throwing his elbow at Jamie, but that was not the case. Once Scott crossed the line he was throwing his arms in the air showing his displeasure I believe towards Bill & I for no caution flag being thrown. But I do know for a fact that he was not throwing elbows towards Jamie.
To me, this is over...Things like this are going to happen when you race each other every weekend...You guys have always gotten along, don't let hard racing come between that. Keep racing hard on the track & keep getting along off the track.
One more thing. Keep your tempers at WRP. We have a very nice racey track & I love to watch you guys go at it out there...But I can tell everyone right now that if the argueing & fighting starts then as much as I would hate it, the racing will stop.

Hey, I said it first Jeremy! That was the most bumping and banging I have ever done in a race!! But, keep in mind, Scott IS the hardest guy to pass, so you have to "move" him. I try not to turn him around or take him out, but on a track as small as ours, you have to put the bumper to the guy in front of you and then try to scoot under him.
Keep in mind guys, its just karts and its just for fun. I was laughing so hard during all of it that I was fogging up my shield and couldn't see half the time. Well, I quit laughing for a second there when I was headed for the corner of the barn!
And where's my bonus points for running the track in????????

Uncle Roush #4 John you guys seriously didnt know I was mad at the track??Come on now,I was a little upset and I showed it!Plus this is the first time that you have ever told me that Im one of the dirtiest drivers you race against and in fact youve said the exact opposite??I already said 2 posts up that I was over it and I even said when I first posted this that Jamie dominated the feature and I said that he got me mad and there is no way you guys did not know I was mad and did anyone even come over to apologize or talk about it!!I did not throw an elbow either!!Like Jeremy said,I was throwing my arms up wanting a call!!
